TERMS OF SERVICE

Care Instructions: Each garment listed on MAJA comes with specific care instructions (e.g., "Dry Clean Only," "Hand Wash Cold," or "Do Not Bleach") provided by the Designer. These instructions are available on the product page and/or the physical garment tag.

• Limitation of Liability: MAJA and its partner Designers shall not be held liable for any damage, shrinkage, color bleeding, fabric thinning, or loss of embellishments resulting from:

• Failure to follow the prescribed care instructions.

• Use of harsh detergents, bleach, or incorrect iron temperatures.

• Damage caused by third-party laundry or dry-cleaning services.

• Post-Wash Returns: Once a garment has been washed, dry-cleaned, or altered by the user, it is deemed "accepted" in its final condition. MAJA will not entertain any return, exchange, or refund requests for items that have undergone any cleaning process, regardless of the outcome.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be instituted in the courts of Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.

As a marketplace, we provide a "Fallback Liability" if a seller fails to deliver or provides a counterfeit product.

• Grievance Officer: In accordance with the DPDP Act 2023 and Consumer Protection Rules, any complaints should be sent to:

• Turnaround: Acknowledgment within 48 hours; resolution within 30 days.

Users agree not to:

• Use the platform for "Wardrobing" (buying for a single event and returning).

• Scrape designer data or images for commercial use.

• Post defamatory reviews about designers without factual basis.

Design Protection: All garment designs, patterns, and brand names are the intellectual property of the respective Designers or Amrutam Designs Pvt Ltd. Any "copy-cat" behavior or unauthorized use of images is strictly prohibited.

• User Content: If you tag @MAJA or upload a photo of yourself in a MAJA outfit, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that image for marketing purposes.

Policy: In compliance with E-commerce Rules, designers must provide a clear return/exchange policy.

• Non-Returnable Items: Customized garments (made to your measurements) and "Final Sale" items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged.

• Quality Check: All returns undergo a quality check for perfume scents, makeup stains, or signs of wear. MAJA reserves the right to reject returns that are not in "as-new" condition.

Dispatch Timelines: Many Pret designers work on a "Small Batch" or "Made-to-Order" basis. Expected dispatch dates (e.g., 15–20 days) are clearly mentioned on the product page.

• Delayed Delivery: While we monitor designers, MAJA is not liable for delays caused by the designer’s production cycle, though we will assist in cancellation/refunds if timelines are breached.

MRP & Taxes: All prices listed are Maximum Retail Prices (MRP) inclusive of GST.

MAJA is a digital marketplace connecting independent "Pret" fashion designers (Sellers) with consumers (Buyers).

Intermediary Status: Amrutam Designs Pvt Ltd acts as an "Intermediary" as defined under the IT Act, 2000. We provide a platform for third-party content and products.

• Contract of Sale: When you buy a garment on MAJA, the contract for sale is strictly between you and the Designer. MAJA is not a party to that contract but facilitates the transaction and logistics.

Pret Nature: Our collections are "Ready-to-Wear." However, because we host multiple designers, sizing scales may vary. Users are responsible for checking the specific "Size Chart" provided by the designer on each product page.

• Accuracy: We require designers to provide high-resolution images. However, minor variations in color (due to screen settings) or hand-embroidery patterns are inherent to designer wear and are not considered defects.
