Return policy
OUR PERSONAL STATEMENT, COOKIES, THIRD-PARTIES
To support our independent designers and maintain our "Pret" marketplace standards, the following shipping policy applies:
• Size Exchanges: For the first size exchange of an order, the customer is responsible for the return shipping charges (shipping the item back to our warehouse/designer). MAJA will bear the cost of shipping the new size back to the customer.
• Returns for Refund: For all eligible returns (within the 24-hour window), a flat Processing & Logistics Fee of ₹[Insert Amount, e.g., 250] will be deducted from the final refund amount.
• Exceptions: If the return is due to a verified manufacturing defect or an incorrect item sent by MAJA (verified via the Unboxing Video), we will provide a free reverse pickup and a full refund/exchange.
To safeguard against transit damage or missing items, MAJA requires an Unboxing Video for all returns or claims related to "Damaged on Arrival."
• The Process: You must film a continuous, unedited video while opening the courier package for the first time. The video must clearly show the shipping label, the sealed state of the bag, and the condition of the garment.
• Non-Compliance: In the absence of an unboxing video, MAJA and its Designers reserve the right to reject any claims of physical damage or missing components (e.g., belts, tassels, or buttons) discovered after delivery.
Quality Check (QC): Once your return reaches our warehouse (or the designer's studio), it will undergo a rigorous Quality Check.
• Approval: If the QC team finds any signs of wear, washing, or missing tags, the return will be rejected, and the item will be shipped back to you at your expense.
• Payment: Upon successful QC approval, the refund will be processed to your original mode of payment within [7–10] business days.
We understand that "Pret" sizing can vary between designers. Size exchanges are possible subject to the availability of the required size with the designer.
• The 24-hour notification rule and "Pristine Rule" apply to exchanges as well.
• If the required size is unavailable, we may offer a return for a refund or store credit at our discretion.
The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable:
• Customized Orders: Any garment made to your specific measurements or customized in color/design.
• Sale/Discounted Items: Products purchased during a sale, using a high-value discount code, or from the "Clearance" section.
Hygiene-Sensitive Items: (If applicable) Intimate wear or swimwear pieces.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the garment must be in its original, factory-fresh condition. We will not accept returns if the item:
• Has been worn, used, or altered in any way.
• Shows any hints of being worn (e.g., perfume scents, makeup stains, sweat marks, or deodorant residue).
• Has been dry-cleaned or washed (See our Product Care Disclaimer in the Terms of Service).
• Is missing its original designer tags, brand packaging, or dust bags.
Strict Timeline: We offer a return/exchange facility only if the request is intimated within 24 hours of the delivery timestamp provided by our logistics partner.
• How to Intimate: You must email us at care@shopmaja.com within this 24-hour window. Any requests received after 24 hours will be automatically declined.
• Eligibility: Returns are only applicable to standard-sized items that are not customized, altered, or marked as "Final Sale.
At MAJA, we curate exclusive designer Pret wear. Since our partner designers create limited-edition or made-to-order pieces, we have a specific and time-sensitive return policy to ensure the integrity of the garments.
